Fortunately, a new chapter is unfolding in Sydhavnen. And, unlike most stories, this one comes with SİMİT.
Turkish Brunch Chronicles — a generous Turkish breakfast inspired by the ancient art of gathering around a table, sharing what is good, and postponing all other responsibilities for a little while.
On the table: Kavata Simit, made with Danish heritage grains and coated in sesame and grape molasses; Turkish cheeses accompanied by wild thyme butter; honey and silky kaymak; seasonal jams; tahin and molasses; menemen with sun-dried tomatoes and sivri peppers; fresh sourdough bread; and spinach and cheese börek.
There will also be unlimited special-blend Turkish tea, along with still and sparkling water.
Two seatings each day, for those who prefer their mornings early or slightly later: 10.30 and 13.00.
A small but important note: this is a set-menu experience, and reservations are required. Spontaneity is a charming quality, but it cannot always be relied upon to secure a table.
Every story has a beginning, and ours would be incomplete without @jazzed_on_grains, who helped start this tradition with us in Copenhagen last year. To them, our sincere thanks for bringing this idea to life and setting the first table. The story continues.
