Kavata's kitchen wild-ferments when it can, sources Danish grain for Turkish recipes, and sells our family food each day, which connects us directly to our guests. It's a kitchen with a point of view, and we're looking for someone who wants to sharpen it, not just churn dishes out.

You know your craft from busy, serious kitchens. You're still curious enough to learn something new, and humble enough to do the washing up or step into the dining room when it matters.

Kavata is a meyhane before it's a restaurant, and a meyhane runs on people who remember things. Who ordered what, who's celebrating, whose favourite raki we should have ready. We want someone who carries that instinct naturally, not as a script.

You know how to read a table, or you're hungry to learn fast. You're not above clearing plates or topping up water when it's busy, and you're genuinely curious about the food and drink you're serving.

Kavata's warmth doesn't stay behind our own walls. We bring it to private dinners, events and catering jobs across town, and it needs to travel well. We're looking for on-call staff who can walk into an unfamiliar room, read it fast, and make it feel like a Kavata table within minutes.

You're reliable on short notice and comfortable working without a fixed schedule. You know how to carry yourself at a formal event and how to loosen up for a casual one, and you're not thrown by working outside a normal kitchen or floor setup.
